Pest Solutions

Pest Description When to treat Recommended solution
Flower Beetles,

Hibiscus Beetle

There are several species of beetle which attack garden plants. They range in colour from black to yellow and are from about 2.5mm long. They leap off the plant when disturbed. The beetles eat holes in the leaves varying in size from pepper holes up to big chunks of leaf. The worst damage occurs on seedlings which are often killed off. Spray when leaf damage is evident, usually between September and March. Spray every 14 days during this period. Garden King Conquer or Chemspray Garden Insect Spray or Chemspray Rogor 100
