Pest Description When to treat Recommended solution
Cockchafer Beetle A light-brown, 1 cm long, plump, rounded, night-flying beetle, which feeds on, leaves. Its larva, the grass grub, causes damage to turf and young plants. Strips foliage from tips of branches and eats large holes in leaves and flower buds. Spray from September to December. Chemspray Lawn Grub Killer 500, Grubkil 500 or Lawn Grub & Beetle Killer Granules
