Small
oval-shaped, fragile sap-sucking insects which vary in colour
from green to black. Only some of the adults have wings.
Aphids usually cluster together on tender young plants causing
loss of vigour, distortion of leaves, stunting and spread of
virus diseases. Aphids attack most plants including berry
fruits, ornamentals, potato, cabbage, tomato, pea, bean and
flowers. |
