Disease Description When to treat Recommended solution
Powdery Mildew White powdery growth on leaves, flowers and twigs. Common on many garden plants, especially pumpkin, squash, marrow, cucumber, pea, turnip and strawberry. Also on aster, poppy, zinnia, pansy delphinium and roses. Prevalent on apple. Vegetables, and Flowers - Spray after appearance every 14 days. Apples - Spray at green tip and then on same schedule as for Black Spot. Chemspray Lime Sulphur (in winter) or Garden King Sulphur Spray (not cucumbers or rockmelons)
